Описание: Shanta(Rakhi Gulzar) was married to Prabin(Suresh Oberoi). Prabin's younger brother was Nabin (Mithun Chakraborty).On the day of Shanta & Prabin's marriage, the police raided their house, but did not get Nabin. When Nabin came to meet Shanta in the bus, the police again attacked the bus and Nabin escaped. In the meanwhile,Prabin won the case of their old ancestral property. Nabin met Suraj(Vijay Arora)and came to know that Shanta had given birth to a son. Prabin was murdered by his relative and the blame fell on Nabin. Nabin however proved his innocence in front of everyone. Soon Shanta with her children and father-in-law had to leave the city. They struggled to make a living. Once Nabin was caught and put to death. Suraj,who was Shanta's childhood friend advised Shanta to make pickle, sell it and thus make money. Shanta did the same and she had a pickle factory soon. Her father-in-law soon passed away. Her son got married, and so did her daughter. Suraj was dead.Shanta made a will and left home. Everyone searched for her. Shanta's grandson Raju found her in the station.Everybody understood their faults and apologised to Shanta. At last when Shanta died and her granddaughter Shobha gave birth to a daughter, everybody was convinced that Amma was back.
